Project overview

A frontage rebuilt from the structure out

A multi-unit building in Saint-Léonard whose frontage had given up. The windows were frosting over, the seal was gone, and both the cladding and the structure behind it had rotted. There was not much left to save.

The need

Replace three openings and redo the frontage cladding, rebuilding the damaged structure behind it. All with three occupied units.

Our support

We got 3 quotes for the owner, with different options for materials, opening types and installation timelines. We also coordinated his Rénoclimat file: he did not know the program existed before we mentioned it.

The result
  • Three openings replaced and the frontage structure rebuilt
  • Substantial savings against the quotes he already had in hand
  • Resized openings, so less heat loss for the three units
  • A Rénoclimat grant he did not know he could claim
