The right material, in the right place.

PVC, aluminum or hybrid: each material has its strengths. We explain the differences so your choice is informed, not imposed.

PVC, aluminum or hybrid: how to decide.

The right material depends on your home, your openings and your budget. There is no wrong choice, only a choice that fits your situation better than the others.

PVC is the most popular in Quebec: best value for money, good insulation, almost no maintenance. Aluminum relies on slim frames, light and maximum durability, ideal for large glazed surfaces and contemporary looks. Hybrid combines the two: the insulation of PVC inside, the strength of aluminum outside.

All three can be ENERGY STAR certified, so eligible for the Rénoclimat grant ($150 per replaced opening, quebec.ca). The real difference plays out on price, look and performance over time. Our advisors, trained in fenestration, look at it with you window by window. In Laval as elsewhere in Greater Montreal, the goal is the same: that your choice is informed, not imposed.
